La Giostra is another great pearl that we got recommended by M's childhood friends in Monaco, who regularly go to Italy, both in the country side and cities. Like all of these gourmet restaurants, it's hard to tell from the outside that this place has something special to offer from all of the other trattorias that in many ways, look the same from the outside. Just like Cibréo, La Giostra also has a famous chief, and not only that, he has a extremely eccentric, original and special son who is also working in the restaurant. Wearing about 200 bracelets up his sleeves, a big key chain hanging down his trousers, it's hard to tell the he is an expert in wine and culinary experiences just like his father. He almost looks criminal and I'm sure he's a biker when he's not taking care of his customers with high expectations.
Also in this place, we tired some special dishes and eat us through the evening until the mother Stina needed her "making-a-baby-sleep" again while M had hardly finished his nice bottle of wine ...
But this is a place I would most definitely go to again and even though Cibréo still has the hihgest point in this "food exploration" trip - this one comes second.
