This is another breath taking mix of what mother nature has given us. I really feel like I'm ready to move from the apartment life and get us a house when having the second child on the way and feeling the freedom one can inly get by being close to trees, flowers and a view.
During our stay, we took the terrane cars and drove around on their land, and we admired the Tuscany landscape which still is raw from the very long winter this year. But M has been coming here many times growing up and also during different seasons and he says that in spring and summer it's mind blowing with flowers, colours and aromas.
The tomatoes are brought here from Portofino, the other place they have and the lovely mother/host of the house specially make sure to have them here during this time, only for the extraordinary taste of them. We had them for almost every meal and for a vegetable lover like me, I still haven't got the perfect blend of firmness, sweetness and consistent out of my mind. The were as close to perfection a tomato can come and reminds me about the tomatoes that are grown outside M's parents house in south of France. They look less perfect, but the taste is beyond. I would live on those if I had them in a garden close to mine.
