I'm not super fond to see myself on TV to be honest, but this is a TV/online production from one of the most popular news magazines in Sweden, Expressen, that I've participated in.
One more will be shown in a few weeks! The show is about different things you can do to look better on a lunch break.

Check it out here. Part II it is.

So I just got back from a quick night and day in Gothenburg, the city more south in Sweden, known for their easy going personality and amazing sea food. It is part of the tour in Sweden, to hold my educational evening with all readers from Improvements by Stina Auer, the page I created for you.
We left an absolutely impeccable day in Stockholm where the sun was shining and the spring birds slightly making themselves heard that light is on the way. In the train down I had a really nice time, chatting with my boss and planning the evening we had in front of us. Unfortunately the weather which grated us was cold, grey and humid but yet, we had this night on the one and only hotel in Gothenburg worth mentioning, the Dorisa and inside that fascinating, burlesque hotel, one can always find spring and joy.

After a few problems during the educational and inspirational evening, it went very fine in the end and it seemed like most of you all where happy. You who were there now what I'm referring to ...

Thank you all for coming though and I will with pleasure help you achieve whatever improvements you want. For all of you in Gothenburg, there is Akademikliniken and two great injection specialist wiling to take care of you!

On the train back I sat mostly just quiet and reflected over life, the fragility of the human body and mind, the future, my goals and the fact that all the things in life that really matters are my children, my family, peace and calm and fining love and balance in ones life. We should never forget that. I spent the whole afternoon just kissing and playing with them and being so deeply touch by how lucky i am to have them all in my life.

Sleep well!

Last couple of days ...

I would say these pictures pretty much sums up life the last couple of days. Add a sometimes completely chaos, fights among the brothers, messy everyday dinners etc etc and you will probably get the feeling. Mostly I love life with all its ingredients,, but one can not help feeling sometimes both tired and exhausted. I think we're in the most hectic time with the children, Alexis is 3.5years and Leon 1.5years and they haven't really started to play nicely yet. It's mostly fights and jealousy which makes us say no, no, no fights, no Leon, no Alexis, stop it ... about one million times per day. And the CONSTANT energy level which I'm sure is much, much higher with boys then with girls ...

1. Doesn't happen often but sometimes we sit and just talk in the late hours in front of the fire with a cocktail and something nice to nibble on.
2. Leon, bubbly, happy, strong and just as determent as his older brother.
3. Monster pets from Fendi.

Have a lovely Sunday!

So my man has been away since last weekend and he is finally coming back tomorrow. Of course my oldest and me got stomach sick in the middle, things like this always wants to occur when he is not there to help. Can't wait to have him back, both for those extra hands but also for some love and cosiness ...
Anyhow, this is what I wore last weekend when we had a fabulous evening with friends! My funny little furry monsters got all the attention (even though I was the only woman among a lot of men, blink).

After this week with hard work, sick kids, sick mother etc, I went to Cleansing Days, on Sturegatan 20 just around the corner from the clinic and picked up a well put selection of energy and immune system boost, raw pressed, ecological juices with the best of the best for the body.
They were all chosen for me, but like always with my two monkeys, they want EVERYTHING i use/eat/do. So we split the first one like a honest animal pack and I can just imagine how they will love the delicious Sweet Dreams, with almond milk, dates, cinnamon. On the picture we're enjoying Carry me Home with carrot, ginger, lemon and apple to mention a few nursing components. Even the kids liked it, crazy but true!
This time I will not do a light detox like the last time since i found it quite difficult to keep my mood and energy up, but I'll use them as between meals and energy boosts and combine it with as healthy living as possible. (Will be hard though since my man is arriving back tomorrow but we'll see ...)

Well, I've been up since 6am and took the kids to an indoor playground until midday where I left for one hour of Pilates. Now we just need to figure a way to spend this afternoon with my two little monkeys.

Almond Milk - home made

Good evening Readers!

Today I made home made and pure almond milk for my two sweet hearts. Alexis is milk protein allergic and has been so since very early and to not complicate things too much (and to avioid jelousy drama between the brothers) I try to serve them the same food and beverege to the extend it's possible.
In our house they consume litres of calcium added oat milk and almond milk, both almost tripple the price of normal cow milk. They start everyday with a smoothie with coconut fat, banana and some sort of cow free milk and also get pretty much the same in the afternoon after kindergarden. Before bedtime it's time again for some milk and therefor we end up in enormous quantities. They drink a lot!

Long have I wanted to make my own almond milk and actually not for the reason that it's cheaper, I wish it was but it's most certainly not since almonds, the good ones are very expensive also and therefor almond milk is of course the same since it's necessary to use almost 200gr per making. But anyhow, it feels incredible good and healthy that I've now started to make their own.
It's basically so full of love and good vitamins for the children, I just have to keep doing it.
Start by soaking 200gr of ecological almonds in three times the water for two days. They will become soft and looks not so yummi but the longer they're bathing in the water, the better the milk will be. The more creamy.
After two days in water, rinse the almonds in cold water very properly and put them in a superb mixer (I use the Thermomix, thank you for that one mother in law) and 4 cups of water for 200gr. Which is about 8dl water. Mix it all for two full minutes. The picture shows the raw almond and water mix. I tried it and also gave Leon a serving, but it's too hard to swallow in that consistency so the step below is necessary it seems.
Leon was with me all the time, observing, making noises, eating the swollen almonds that he nicked ...
Take the raw, grainy almond milk and use a clean kitchen towel and put it above a bowl or carafe and poor the raw almond milk on the kitchen towel and within a few minute it will have separated the grains from the pure and silken delicious ready to drink, almond milk. The last part I squeezed out of it as you can see on the picture. It became about 6dl almond milk in the end so it's some work for little but anyhow.
Et Voila! Home made almond milk from their mother to my loves.

I've been told to add some Agave syrup, cardamom and cinnamon to add some more flavours. It taste so natural and healthy, try it!!! One more setup is already in the making, so new soaked almonds are waiting to be pure almond milk in two days now!

Our Dear girl friends Rebecca was one of the talented contesters in the super popular TV- show Dancing with the stars (Let's Dance in Swedish) and me and Frida was invited with our men to be her support. It was such a fun night and I liked it much more then I would have thought. Rebecca was so good and looked absolutely flawless, even so she was voted out. The rule of the game. We tried to give her as much support as we could and I hope she felt the love.

The funnies (and cutest) thing was both my parents sms me during the show with the words "We saw you on the television" - among many friends and followers. I haven't seen it myself but hope I looked like we had a lot of fun!

So we went to one of my favourite spots in the world and this must have been my fifth time to Morocco. Every time I see this oriental, magical place in a different light, learn something new or try flavours new to my lips and heart. The arabic spirit is still surrounding behind every corner of the city, yet with a secretive hint of the mystic and the time far back in ages. The culture is still so captivated, a perfect mix of complete chaos and colours, the traditions so well taken cared of and I love how passion lives in most things people still do with hands. How things are allowed to take time, made with the truth of every souls making.

We stayed in this private mansion we heard about from some friends down in South of France who had been there before. Eight private suits, still preserved as the rich family who let this house be build and decorated it, had left it. The owner now, the son of the founder of this small, hidden hotel is living in a house next to it and he is there to tell you the story or give you the best tips of whatever your search for. The service was absolute top notch and the kitchen delicious. We ate a dinner in the lightened darkness there one night and it was one of the two best dinners we've had. The rest of the nights and lunches we had booked some amazing Riads an kitchen one has to make a reservation at. The Moroccan kitchen is just so tasty and I never get tired of the flavours of cinnamon, cardamon, cumin, coriander, raisin, vegetables, low cooked meat with that delicious couscous, soft and porous like it should, made in a two and a half hours process.

Expect a cavalcade of beautiful inspirational photos from Marrakech the upcoming days. We've had a passionate, romantic and very, very harmonic travel for sure.

Thank you S and T for making this come true! We love you!

The beauty of arabic artesian architecture goes beyond words. The mathematic perfection, made in symbols to discretely give blessings of religions and show their beliefs in a very modest way, compared to the absolutely heavy Catholicism or religions like that, is exactly what I love. Discretion is much more fascinating. Everything is made to perfection when it comes to patterns or decorations, always with a hint of amazing colours. One can not do anyhting else then be affected by it's magnificent.

There's a modern Morocco and a very traditional - blend with each other in a somewhat hard to understand way. The islamic heaviness is more visible now then before, yet the new era of young Moroccans show their liberty and try to adjust their life to be more independent, yet it's clear that they are far from where we are today. You'll never be able, as a young moroccan woman to attend a cafe with your girlfriend without adding shame to your family for being available for flirtation and narcissism. Clearly most very "evening dressed" women with heavy makeup were "road flowers" (escort girls, prostitutes, paid company) as we nicely call them for older international men with lot's of money and a possibility to a better life perhaps.
Part of the females go dress like European women, the rest with the typical Djellaba(h) which is the traditional "kaftan" but with a hood on the back to protect from sand or sun, and the third part in complete burkas, covering the complete body including the face except the eyes. The men are more or less the same blend of modernity and traditional man Djellabah, but of course with tons more freedom.
Morocco is chaos to a western eye, a dynamic mix of cars, caravans, free walking animals, pollution, dust, dirt, people, street food, light weight motorcycles that carry a whole family on one, with the smallest child in front without a helmet. The segregation between the ultra poor and the middle class and wealthy is remarkable visible, but where is it not today in this weird world we're living in?

You'll find modern, ultra hip restaurants (often own by some french guy) very "lounge" in style, and the more authentic moroccan restaurant, where the food obviously is ten times better and served as it should. We went to both kind, and always a stunning Riad with impeccable architecture or style for lunch.

There are many top notch international hotels, but somewhat I find that those luxurious huge hotels all look the same and I love finding luxurious, yet "real" places to stay so that you take part for the country and the cultural in a more close way.

I'll give you tips for Riads, restaurant and things to to in a post coming soon!

Marrakech riding

We did a lot of fun things during daytime this time. One of the things were getting out riding for three hours in the raw nature and a short tea break at a small little house before continuing. I've been riding half my life, but nevertheless, I felt quite nervous and rusty and so did my man. My horse was called Luna (Lunetic) and even if she was the smaller version and looked so cute and calm, she was a nervous, complete crazy horse who almost got me of her back about five times and raced me in complete gallop three times without any possibility to stop. At one point I thought of my boys and all the big rocks on the ground and felt like If I stay on this horse (my proud confidence wanted of course) I will come home with a broken leg or back. Not worth it at all. So M and me had to switch horse in the end, he is far heavier and could more easily control this nutshell.

No matter what, it was super fun and I am very happy we did this unusual thing together!

(Note to self: Do not bring and ride with the Chanel WOC, it will open itself all the time and the things will fall out ...)

How I love getting home to a hotel after a full day, have some nice Rum or any other strong cocktail, spend time together in a slow rhythm, shower, put some evening makeup on, get dressed in something you'd never wear on a everyday, have some more Rum or other beverage, become slightly tipsy, get the heels on, kiss, listening to some good music, hold hand and get into the car and experience a new place, indulge in some tasty food with a nice bottle of wine and just talk, laugh, eat, drink and forget the everyday life for a moment (or two).

Even if we're home now, I can't stop browsing hotels, places in Morocco to stay at for the future. It's just something in the mysticism of it all that is vey enchanting and I try to picture myself and the boys (and M of course, we need someone in fluent French for sure, blink) living there for a few years. There's so much more of Morocco that most people haven't seen, a grown and upcoming Arabic Europe (maybe not, but you get my picture) and it's very intriguing to fantasy myself taking us all and try it out. I'm sure there's some excellent French schools and M could probably work from there and what I would do ... well maybe what I already do or something absolutely different. I can't get that thought of my mind, that's for sure. We have one life, we must try what is hunting us ...
